This one was really fun! I know I’ve made comparisons before between OrpheusXEurydice and WillXElizabeth, what with both guys being precious cinnamon rolls who would go to hell and back for the woman who means the world to them, and with both girls doing everything to fend for themselves and give all they can for the one who’d give everything to her, despite tragic accursed separations.
It wasn’t until my last listen to Hadestown that I realized, during Epic III, that PersephoneXHades shares with Davy JonesXCalspso this idea of having separate roles, destinies not entirely entwined, and their struggles with extreme long distance relationships, especially between a strong woman and a controlling man,
